grub loading 1.5 error21

 Have windows xp home and 2 hard drives, I installed ubuntu on my second blank H.D. now I cannot boot to either operating systems I get the message GRUB Loading Stage 1.5 followed by GRUB Loading please wait followed by Error 21 I can still load ubuntu from my cdrom How do I repair this?

Perhaps reinstalling GRUB would be the best solution. Plus, it's extremely easy.
