Ubuntu & Red Hat Dual Boot Problem

At the start Red Hat 5 was installed on my laptop. After that I installed ubuntu 8.04 (64-bit) desktop edition on another partition. Then I was unable to boot Red Hat. Again I installed Red Hat. Now I am unable to boot Ubuntu. Please Help Me!

Hello Niraj

Once you have installed red hat the Master boot record will be overwritten

Reinstall grub:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351

and you should be booting from ubuntu

2. to mount ubuntu partition in RH give the command:

sudo mount /dev/sda4 /mnt

Hello again:

If you have installed Red hat please refer the link above to reinstall grub and you should boot into ubuntu after reinstalling grub.
