Thats not the command I gave at all. If you COPY the command you won't botch the command.

I am using ubuntu 10.10

Maverick is no longer supported in any way. I suggest you ditch Maverick and install a clean install of Precise or Saucy. You can then upgrade to Trusty in April.

What to do to get windows back

Reinstate the Windows bootloader to the MBR using the Windows install CD. A Windows forum will be able to advise.
