Update Grsync to new version 1.2.8 ?

Hello. I see in groovy that the version of Grsync is still the 1.2.6 verson. Since may it exists a version 1.2.8 (see the official site : http://www.opbyte.it/grsync/changes.html).

An important bug ("Fixed session set execution by command line only running first 2 sessions") is corrected.

Is it possible to have that version in groovy ?

Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and also Debian has only version 1.2.6
First step must be to create a bug report in Debian to request an update there.
