Plans to use Univa 8.0?

Asked by Vadim Gutnik

Univa has taken over gridengine development, and claims to have an open-source version (8.0)
based on the last 6.2u5. Are there any plans to make this available in ubuntu?

http://gridengine.info/ has a link to http://biote.am/sge, which has links to binaries built
from https://github.com/gridengine

So, I'd guess it's possible to get the source and build it.

So, any plans? I think it makes sense to package the univa source. 6.2u5 has known bugs and
isn't being supported further.
