How do I format an other hard drive with ubuntu 8.04

I have another hard drive which is set up as a slave drive and I need to format it entirely. It had been partitioned before in windows.

Marcobra, many thanks for your reply i went to the site , and have loaded gparted, and will be working on the drive today.
