How do I install g parted disk drive partitioning tool

I currently ahve Ubuntu 8.04 and want to have linux 7.0 as a training secondary O.S. instead of windows 2000.
My synaptic package manager will not install it nor will it install Partition magic. How else can I partition my har drive while in Ubuntu O.S.?

sudo apt-get install gparted

However, there's no such thing 'linux 7.0'.
