The link to homepage of a root application should not launch a root browser session

Asked by Mtt.Castelli

The link to homepage (in Info or About menu) of a root application (such as GParted) should not launch a root browser session. This could be a security issue. Don't you think so?

Report a bug if you suspect one

No, 'cause it is not a bug or an unwanted behaviour: by one side it's normal for a root app to launch a root browser instance. But by the other side it is still an unsafe and potentially dangerous behaviour.

And also maybe I'm just asking a stupid question.

regards.

It's exactly what I meant.

So I'm going to close this by checking 'This Solved My Problem' button, now that a blueprint is opened.
Thank you, Robert.
