gparted crashes

i want to remove windows7. live cd dos not start when double click on .exe files. gparted cd: crashes when openening.

Hi Top desdemona,

Sorry, I don't can you explain a little more what you are seeing? The liveCD does not use a ".exe" file to run - you have to restart your computer to create a live session. When you do so, you should be prompted for an installation. gparted is not involved in these steps, normally.

hi mycae,

so i run my pc on windows 7, put in the gparted cd and when i start gparted from the .exe file its open for a second and then crashes. i read that on the live cd you also have gparted, but i do not know which file to open. if i restart my computer with the live cd, it does not work and normal windows appears.

You need to configure your bios to boot from the cd. This usually involves pressing delete or F10 or F12 on boot up.
