portable ubuntu space allocation on HDD

i have installed ubuntu portable on a 120G external HDD. everything seems to run fine. my problem is that i have 80G free on my HDD but i cannot allocate anymore to ubuntu. how to i add space to ubuntu.
right now it states i only have 1.8G (after i just installed ubuntu)

i want to add more of my HDD disk space to ubuntu 500MB is not enough, u was thinking 25G. i just do not know how to allocate more space. please help asap

You can resize partitions in live CD if that's what you mean?

this boots and runs directly over windows from my external hard drive. i do not have a live cd.

Are you using Wubi, i.e. you installed Ubuntu inside Windows disk partition ?
