need to resize ext4 w/ gparted while mounted or some other way

I just want to resize the home folder partition for easier access to files. I'm using gparted on lucid lynx and obviously can't unmount while I'm using the OS partition. what can I do?

you can download gparted from sourceforge.net and load it onto a usb drive. boot with that and you should be okie dokie.

boot from Ubuntu live install cd (or usb) and use gparted
