how to repair my pen drive using ubuntu Terminal?

pen drive can't mount. but it shows icon.
using terminal how can i repair the pen drive.
please help me.

sudo fdisk; mount

well its GUI. install gparted. there u can format ur pendrive or create a new table( sometime gives life t dead pendrives)
