Remove Installed Partitions??

Asked by Keith Willis

I downloaded and installed? Ubuntu 10 from made CD.#
Tried installing and nothing seemed to change, even though completion message shown, so...
Re Installed again, still nothing happened on reboot..
I have since discovered that my 1.5TB USB drive, which was plugged in during the previous 2 installation attempts has been filled up with 2 Linux partions!!
If I boot from Live CD how can I safely get rid of these 2 Linux Partitions from my USB Drive and revert it to full use by Windows Vista, which only shows it as being 450MB, instead of 1.5TB!!
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thank You
Keith

Boot your pc from the install cd and select to try Ubuntu
Then use gparted "partition editor" (menu System→Administration) to delete Linux ext3 or ext4 partitions and then still using gparted resize the NTFS partition

Thanks, Deleted both partitions. I'm left with...
/dev/sdc1 ntfs 427.03 GiB Boot
/dev/sdc2 extended 970.24 GiB
    unallocated unallocated 970.24 GiB

When I cick on sdc1 and try to resize I cant make it bigger without Free Space pre or Free Space Following changing?
Should I be changing sdc2 from unallocated to something else ??
TIA
Keith
