uninstall ubuntu and undo disk fragmentation which was done by ubuntu

i installed ubuntu and it created a new drive..i want to uninstall ubuntu and remove that disk and want my old disk pattern..when i am using windows 7 i amm gettin very less space as 112 gb of space has been used by ubuntu and so i cant use it in win7..so i want my old setting..remove ubuntu and get my previous disk setting

Sorry to hear that. You can try the instructions at http://bit.ly/a6lM1C. It involves deleting the partition from Windows and then repairing the Master Boot Record.

After deleting the partition created by Ubuntu, you can reallocate it to be used for Windows again. But if you want to install Ubuntu and this time with a smaller partition, then let us know.

By the way, you can modify the partition size using Gparted. This way, you can resize the one with Ubuntu and create another one as shared partition accessible by Windows and Linux.
