can i resize the file system in ubuntu 10.04

i want to resize the file system , because now it has low space , i'm using ubuntu 10.04

Use Gparted to resize partitions ( please note might be you must wait for hours during resize of partitions )

Please boot your pc ENTIRELY from Ubuntu 10.04 live cd and use the System→Administration→Gparted
