getting windows off my hard-drive

I've installed Ubuntu and would now like to get rid of the partition that has all the Windows stuff on it , so Ubuntu has room to flourish. My computer is a Gateway Solo Pro 9300 E, 500mghz Pentium 3 w/416mb of ram and a 16.9g HD...Thankyou Ogretowman

I take it you did a dual boot so you could transfer all your data? If so I'd take a look at possibly using GParted. It's a great partitioning program...
