SanDisk cruzer 8GB format

I was able to format SanDisk cruzer 8GB with format VFAT, I have a SanDisk cruzer 2GB, but format does not appear. How do I format with VFAT?

What do you mean with "but format does not appear" ? You can use GPardted to add partitions to you usb key.
