No Ribbon menu, no exporting, no printing

After some automatic software updates to my brand new 16.04 (Ubuntu Xerial Xerus), GRM, once on-screen, has no ribbon bar. Recipes cannot be imported/exported and all functions are missing. It was working a week ago, after the upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04.
