gnuplot package

i am not able to install.. sudo apt-get install gnuplot....

i have been trying to install GNUPLOT
i have failed to do so. Please help.
when ever i type sudo apt-get install gnuplot ... after 3 lines i get an ERROR msg saying... Couldn't fine gnuplot package.

Wat should i do?

Gnuplot is in "universe". Please post your /etc/apt/sources.list

As suggested you need to enable repository 'universe'.
system administration -> software sources
