Gnome Radio not working with Ubuntu 11

Asked by Raghavan D

In 11.04 Ubuntu, FM Radio Tuner is not working. When we launch it, it gives error as " Could not open "/dev/mixer"!, could not open device "/dev/radio"!. Check your settings and make sure that no other program is using /dev/radio. Also make sure that you have read access to it.

Point: There seems no folder like /dev/radio, /dev/mixer. Then the error seems misleading.

Any help is appreciated.
