Asked by gir

Is there and if so does anyone know what the keyboard shortcut is to toggle between full-screen and windowed mode in the terminal?

In the terminal application Konsole, Ctrl+Shift+f will bring Konsole to a full screen and then Ctrl+Shift+f will return to a window mode.
I hope that answers your question, let me know if it doesn't.

Nope doesn't work.
However I've just found out that Alt+V followed by F does.

You can also bind a single keystroke if you want, just go to Edit-Keyboard Shortcuts, then scroll the listing until you find the View subtree, click the item that says "Full Screen" and press the key or key combinations you'd like to have for the keybinding.
In my GNOME console the default keybinding was set to F11.
