internet over microsoft network

1) I can not instal ADOBE FLASH in automatic or manual mode inside FIREFOX add-on/plug-in. In manual mode, wich packet to choose from ADOBE: exendion of file " .RPM" or the other one. 2) How can I navigate to the desktop folder using TERMINAL, as oriented by ADOBE in manual installation of FLASH ?
3) Last question: I can not access internet using UBUNTU over a microsoft workgroup network (without proxy), configured to direct access and dynamic IP (DHCP). How do I solve this problem ?

Use the package management to install Adobe Flash

# sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
