installing netbeans & JDK

Asked by Ishan A B Ambanwela

I used

sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-plugin

Actually it works and downloads packages but in a blue bordered ash screen appears and shows license agreement
under"Package configuration"
and shows "Configuring sun-java6-bin" & agreement

what should I do to continue?
I don,t know how to accept it complete installation.
Thanks

You have to Accept the license to continue,
just press " I agree " or "Aceppt " or "Yes", i dont remember what they say...

use synaptic package manager instead
system->administration->synaptic package manager
search for your application and click apply changes

ishanaba, you have to hit the tab key several times to move the focus around.

I believe a synaptic installation also requires you do this.
