gnome-terminal fails for root user

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

when in root,gnome-terminal 2.25.x fails,error message is:"Failed to contact the GConf daemon; exiting."
but in other user or 2.24.x normally.

Hi,
I did a search an found this workaround from someone in Japan.

eval 'dbus-launch --sh-syntax'
gconftool-2 --spawn

Seems to occur when dbus isn't running.

I'd also try to use a default theme.

That's not a satisfying result.
What about logs, any related messages there?
