stop a network connection?

i have 2 wireless connections (1 built in and one usb). can somebody tell me how i can stop one of them (the built-in one). thank you

Hello

You could use ifconfig to see waht are the connections use by your system let say you find eth0 and eth1

then you could stop one of the by doing "sudo ifconfig eth1 down" that will stop the th1 connection
