How can I get com port

I am new Lunix Sytem. I want to use COM1 Port as RS232 for communication in Lunix System

But I didn't fınd Com Port in Lunic system .Please Help me.

Install minicom from the Add software menu. Then start it from the commandline, type ctrl-A followed by Z and enter /dev/ttyS0 as the serial port to use. This should enable you to communicate on "Com1".
