copy and paste from internt to consola doesn't work

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I copied from the site http://listas.ubuntubrasil.org/pipermail/ubuntu-al/2007-July/000069.html the command "apt-cache search gstreamer" with control C then using control V in consola didn't work , tried to use the right button and then paste, than came the error message and report bug.
I'm using firefox 3.0b5 and Ubuntu 8.04

Please try

Shift+Ctrl+c to copy

and

Shift+ctrl+v to paste

In terminal you have to use Ctrl + Shift + C/V to copy/paste, but you can easy copy text using middle mouse button (mark some text with mouse, then go somewhere and press middle button).
