D-link usb dwl-g120 wireless how to setup

I have install Ubuntu 6.10 - the Edgy Eft - released in October 2006.i try all diffrent way to setup D-link dwl-g120 -802.11g but I can't able to do any thing you wired connection working great.can some on give me stap by stap detail what to do .
 as soon as i connected my usb it's recongaise wireless device.can some one help me
