HOW DO i UNINSTALL UBUNTU 7.04 AND INSTALL WIN XP?

MY SON INSTALLED UBUNTU 7.04 BUT DIDN'T SAVE WIN XP i NEED TO DELETE UBUNTU AND REINSTALL WIN XP, HELP/

You don't uninstall an OS. You just overwrite it. Boot from the windows CD and install. You might want to delete any extra partitions before you start so you don't have wasted space. Windows isn't smart enough to see them an ask what to do.

but it doen not detect any hardisk for installation wen i boot up with win xp cd
