Sudo password for additional packages - Steam

Asked by Michael Hastie

While installing Steam a box came up:

" Steam needs to install these addtional packages:
                     libgl1-mesa-dre-Its-raring:i386, libgl1-mesa-glx-its-raring:i386, libc6:
i386
[sudo] password for michaelhastie: (box)

I can't seem to type anything into the flashing box.

Type in password, hit enter, should take it. Nothing shows when typing password.

Raring is EOL mid January next year, you may want to upgrade soon for continued support.
