How to use Terminal to reset Xscreensaver

Asked by Travis

I clicked on a screensaver my netbook didn't like, and now when I open the screensaver window my computer freezes up. I was wondering if there was a way to reset it to the way it was when I downloaded it using the Terminal. I already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, which didn't seem to do anything.

Press CTRL+ALT+F1 and log in there, you can then stop processes or run more graceful commands
