I have downloaded eclipse_3.8.0~rc4-1ubuntu1_all.deb to /home and extracted into the same folder. However I cannot get the Eclipse IDE to try out Java programming. Kindly advise if possible. I am most grateful for your kind help and patience. Thank you very much.
