in terminal, it asks for [sudo] password ...

i was installing googleearth. in terminal i entered a statement;

sudo make-googleearth-package --force.

when i pressed a ENTER It asks for a

sudo password for khizir

Yes, type your password that you log in with. You will get no feedback. Just type and hit enter.

Installing a package requires root privileges , when you run a command with sudo it will ask you for the admin password that you had set up while installation .

Well, the 'admin pasword' is your login password, nothing more
