COMMAND CP,TARZXVF,ETC ARE MISSING IN TERMINAL

IN TERMINAL,WHEN WE MAKE PROGRAM,N WHEN I USE COMMAND LIKE: cp,tar zcvf,zxvf,mv etc we found these command r missing.
i use ubuntu in vertual box n downlaod package onlie.i think some package r missing.now what can i do??????
please tell me detail,step by step ,i dont know about instaalation/setting,i m new

Run:

sudo apt-get -y install unp

and you can use unp to unpack everything. Easier

can you also give the output of:

echo $PATH; lsb_release -a
