Key board doesn't work when you want to type the password after typing the username

Installed Ubuntu server, the problem is, when i want to login i cant type the password but it allow's me to type the username.
What could be the cause of this?

Keyboard is a microsoft wired keyboard 500 Model: RT2300

If you are typing the password in a terminal or in a shell, just insert it and press enter.
The passwrod on the shell and in the terminal in linux is hidden for secutiry reasons, so after the username insert the password and hit enter.
