How to change Date and Time?

Asked by philip ching

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 but its Time and Date is not correct.

I went to system - Administration - Time and Date ...

It says in the bottom "Click to make change". I clicked but there is no response.

Is this a bug? Can some one help me?

Thank you

Philip

Probably not a bug but you can try to make changes with your date and time via command line. There are a lot of options and parameters to set it, you can use 'date --help' to query, but use 'sudo date [parameters]' to set correct it.

Hope that helps
