terminal problem

i type something in the terminal, i push enter, it ask for my password. i type something in there and it doesn't show up. i push enter again and still ask the same thing. its annoying now, please help! somebody! anybody! HELP!

your password won't show when you type it in.
it asked for it again because you typed in it wrong.
you might want to check to see that caps locks hasn't been activated

I think ,as the password doesn't show up, you have entered anything twice as it is not pressed correctly.please try correctly and due to security issue it is not show up.
