Providing that your using windows xp/vista:

go into 'run' and type in cmd, which will bring up the win32 console then type in
(providing that your primary hard disk volume is C:/)

cd c:/(path to your mysql bin folder)/mysql -u (username) -p
password = (your password) if you have no password just press enter

Ive just seen that your source package is gnome (i.e. linux) so my above message is probably no help
