For wireless, to have the complete name of your card would help.

Do you have the NetworkManager icon in your taskbar?

If you do not have it, you'd better install it, using the "Add/Remove..." application. Then reboot, and you should have the applet in the taskbar. If you click on it and can't see any wireless network, means that you have a driver problem.

I just upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 and now my internal wireless Wi-Fi and sound does not work. I have a dell inspriron 1420. everything worked before upgrading to 8.04. I checked the bios and everything is enabled. What do I have to do to get this working again?

Thanks
