how do i access terminal prompt?

I am trying to upgrade ubuntu 6.10 to 7.04 and I need to access my terminal prompt. how?

Hey, I didn't see it in the article, if so excuse the redundancy, but a quick way is the ctrl+alt+t keyboard shortcut. Very useful if you plan on bringing up the terminal often!

Btw hows this a firefox question? lol =P

The current Ubuntu Linux version is 10.10.

I believe it will be better if you upgrade by doing a fresh install (i.e. Install on top of the current install from the CD).
Doing so will give you a better Ubuntu experience :)

If you decide to download the new Ubuntu 10.10, I recommend you to download using a bittorent client
