TERMINAL INVISIBLE AND PROFILE NO HELP

THE TERMINAL SCRIPT IS INVISIBLE, THE CURSOR DOES NOT MOVE AND CHANGES IN PROFILES, COLORS, TEXT ARE NOT THE APPARENT PROBLEM. VERSION IS 10.10, ALSO NOTICE THAT THE TERMINAL IS NOT A ROOT TYPE. ANY SUGGESTIONS>

Kill the caps!! It's unnecessary and harder to read so DON'T.

What "Terminal script" are you referring to exactly?

The script referred to is the text that appears in a window when one
types into the window. It is now working to some degree but it still is
unusual. When opened, the window display dialog about (I think) the
person or organization contributing the terminal window as a temporary
expedient. We don't what to make of it. Also, the characteristics of the
keys typed are not as defined. For example, even tho we want standard
mono space type and asci when the arrow keys are used the results are
displayed as the two code digital equivalent. We believe configuration
is the problem here but have not yet worked it out.
