how to change font colours in Gnome Terminal window

Asked by sardonic1971

My first Linux-Ubtunu question, so please be gentle with me.

When I go into the Gnome Terminal, the font colour - particularly the aquamarine blue - is unreadable. Is there a config file where I can change text colours? If yes, where would I find it. I still find the file system a bit confusing and I am terrified of breaking something critical.

Thanks your help.

Hello Sardonic, to change the colours of your terminal do this:

Open a gnome-terminal , go to Edit - Current Profiles - Colours .

There you can change the terminal stile, choosing a different schema or just that colour.

Hope I helped :)
