Terminal ? where can i find it

Where can i find Terminal? I cant get any sound answer say go to Terminal and then what? if i get an answer could it be put in VERY simple terms

Hello. You can go to the Terminal by pressing Applications then Accessories and finally Terminal. Does this answer your question?

You can also press ALT+F2 and type:
gnome-terminal

and press ENTER.

Many thanks i now know where terminal is, excellent service. I have many more questions to ask in order to get the system up and running properly.My computer is a revo 3600 and i was on the point of using it as a discus before i found this site.

once again many thanks and look out for my questions (to be ans in simple terms)
