How do I get " Ç, ç " c-cedilla into the keyboard

Asked by Paul Yu

I tried to select different type for the keyboard, but I still cannot configure the keyboard to have " Ç, ç " c-cedilla. Can anyone help me?

Thank you for your reply, but I would not like to use the French or German type of keyboard. Maybe, I need to be more specific as the type of keyboard. The keyboard that I would like to use is US-International, but if there is a way to activate the c-cedilla, it would be treat. At MS-windows, I use the keyboard ' plus c, and it would appear the character that I want. The same, for tilde, I just use ~ and o, it becomes õ.

You can add the french keyboard-layout (System > Preferences > Keyboard), and then you need to change your keyboard layout to french, and then you can press "9" and there will appear a "ç".

And if you are using the german keyboard-layout by default, you can press "Strg + Alt Gr + ´ (apostroph)" and then c or C.
