Remove users from audio group?

Asked by Igor Wojnicki

Since both Karmic and Lucid use consolekit/udev to change permissions for /dev/{audio,dsp,mixer} allowing the user to access audio devices, it seems to be pointless to keep adding the users to audio group.

Besides adding a user to audio group causes a regression comparing with Jaunty, especially if user switching takes place, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/433654 for more details.

So here comes my question: could adding by default a user to audio group be dumped in users-admin, and audio group be removed from profiles in /etc/gnome-system-tools/users/profiles?
