number of cores in resources tab

Asked by Pavlos Kairis

Is it possible to line-up the number of cores in the resource tab to be symmetrical? I have 6 cores and the resource tab shows 4 cores as the first row and 2 cores in the second. It would look nicer to line them up as 3 on 1st and 3 on 2nd row. Thanks.

If you stretch it horizontally, does it show them as you state or on one line?

seems I cannot upload an image, how about this: https://imgur.com/a/JUFNWlc
Also note the vertical spacing between cpu1 and cpu5.

Yes it's all text so the method you got the image to be visible is perfect.
All I can suggest is that you report a bug. You can do this with the below command:

ubuntu-bug gnome-system-monitor

You could install an alternative. There will probably be one or two available
