how to get a longer timeline

Asked by Francisco Corrales Morales

Hellow,

The timeline in Resources actually shows only 60 seconds. I want to be able to change that (to any value, 10 minutes, 3 minutes, ... whatever).

How can I make that?

Regards.

Is it mentioned in the man page?

No.
But that is not the point.
It would be great if that functionality could be added.

Thank you.

If you right click the graph can it be changed there? If not then I suggest you report a bug.

No, it can't be changed.
But it's not a bug either, it's just a new functionality, that would be great to have.

Thank you.

Yes it is not a bug as a bug but you can use the bug system to communicate the feature idea to the development teams.

I thought that the development team read this (just like Github)
Ok, I'll make it a bug then.

Thank you.

Solution: change the 'Update interval' that would also change the length of the timeline.

Example:
if you put 10 seconds on 'Update interval' the timeline will be 600 long.
if you put 1 seconds on 'Update interval' the timeline will be 60 long.

It should be in the documentation.
