Where do I go or what do I have to do to find out what version of Ubuntu I have installed on my computer. Thanks Jim

Open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
Type:
lsb_release -a

Or go to system monitor first tab (system).
If you can't find system monitor type in a terminal:
gnome-system-monitor
