time range

How can I change the default time range of 60 seconds to e.g. 10 minutes ?

With the system monitor open, click on Edit > Preferences, then click on Processes or Resources tab and change the value in the "Update interval in seconds" field to your desired time allotment (600 seconds = 10 minutes).
