feature request [ audio waveform view ]

Asked by chrissy mcmanus

Hi, I think a good feature for gnome-sushi would be to have the waveform shown for all audio files opened instead of just the default icon/pic of a cd.
Also to improve on this would be to have a timeline which scrolls over the audio wavform to show exactly where in the audio file is being played, this could be done with a 1px vertical line or using a method somewhat like soundcloud.com where the previously played audio is completely colored and current time is displayed as a tooltip also song length is displayed as a tooltip at the end of the audio. I will link to an uploaded .png file to show what i mean...

I don't think that your question falls under the support category. It's more a request than a support question, so I advise to you report your request as a bug against gnome-sushi package in https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-sushi
